Cher Wang has brilliant experience and record in the IT industry. Her remarkable insight into technology trend and entrepreneur helps her establish a conglomerate spreading handheld, communication, chipset, channel, and PC related business. High Tech Computer is one of the listed companies in Taiwan.

She was instrumental in driving the development of First International Computer, Inc. (FIC) into the motherboard business while in the position of General Manager of the PC Division. She is currently acting Chairperson of the High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) as well as VIA Technologies, Inc. In 2005, she is selected as an Innovator in the 2005 Stars of Asia: 25 Leaders on the Forefront of Change by Business Week and one of the ten executives to watch in Asia.

HT Cho is the CEO & Founder of the HTC Foundation, a philanthropic organization that was established in 2002 to promote character-building programs in education, cross-cultural understanding and respect, and community advocacy for disadvantaged children and seniors. Currently, the HTC Foundation is involved in a number of projects that focus on social development and character building at the grassroots level. By helping educators and parents focus on character building, the HTC Foundation hopes to build stronger communities where cooperation, teamwork, and positive thinking can flourish. Mr. Cho, born in 1950, grew up in Taipei County, Taiwan. He graduated from National Taipei Institute of Technology, majoring in electronic engineering. After receiving his degree, HT worked for the Digital Equipment Corporation from 1975 to 1996, ultimately serving as Head of Taiwan Engineering. Prior to dedicating himself full time to the HTC Foundation, Mr. Cho served as President of HTC from 1997 to 2004 and was CEO from 2004 to 2005. His hard work, dedication, and passion for excellence have helped HTC form a corporate culture and work environment that emphasizes integrity, innovation, and quality. HT is married and has three children. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain climbing, reading, and volunteering.



 
   
 

Peter Chou is the Chief Executive Officer of High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC) and has been with the organization since its establishment in 1997. Mr. Chou strongly believes in the values of entrepreneurship and innovation, and under his direction and leadership, HTC has emerged as a global market leader in wireless communications.

Peter has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has built a solid record of strategic, leadership, and business achievements. During his tenure, HTC became one of the first companies to offer sophisticated product development services and has since grown to become the world's largest designer and provider of Windows Mobile PDA Phones and smartphones. Mr. Chou's expertise has been the driving force behind some of HTC's most cutting-edge converged devices. With Peter at the helm, HTC has achieved many significant firsts and received numerous awards and honors. Business Week ranked HTC number No. 3 on its list of the top 100 global IT companies, and the Corporation was also named as one of the five top performing IT companies in Asia.

Prior to joining HTC, Mr. Chou was the Server Division Director at the Digital Equipment Corporation. Peter graduated with an electronic engineering degree from National Taiwan Ocean University in 1985 and entered National Chengchi University's Executive MBA Program in 2003. In 2006, Mr. Chou completed Harvard Business School's prestigious Advanced Management Program.

Fred Liu is the Chief Operating Officer of High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC), responsible for directing, overseeing, and managing global operations at HTC.

Fred joined HTC in August 1998 and has subsequently served in a variety of development and general management positions, including directing OEM business operations, operating system development, and global service functions. During his early tenure at HTC, Fred successfully promoted the sale of over 1.5 million first-generation PDA units, helping HTC to achieve record sales volumes and earning HTC customers a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for overall sales. He and his teams have been responsible for overseeing HTC's entire ODM business and for providing global logistics services to operator customers.

In April 2006, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, assuming all day-to-day operations for HTC. In addition, Fred is Chairman of HTC USA Inc. and HTC Europe Co. Ltd., and a Board member with VIA Technologies and HTC Nippon Corp.

Before joining HTC, Fred was a game programmer at Mattel Electronics Taiwan and Director of PC Server Engineering at the Digital Equipment Corporation in Taiwan. He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Tatung University. In his spare time, Fred loves reading, traveling, and listening to classical music.

 
   
 

Jack Tong joined IBM in 1982 and served there for about ten years, during which he accumulated rich technology industry professional knowledge and corporate operations management expertise.?

In 1993, Jack was transferred to IBM’s investment business, Concord System Management Corp, as its manager. Here, he led the company to be named as one of the top three ‘Most Worth Investing Company’ and ‘Most Profitable Company’ for three consecutive years from 1996 to 1998 by Commonwealth Magazine in a ranking of the country’s publicly-listed companies based on management achievements.?

From 2002 to 2004, Jack was the General Manager of Apple Computer Taiwan.? In 2004, Jack set up Dopod International – a new brand of PDA and smartphones.? During this period, he personally participated in the birth of the brand as well as the process of growing it and bringing it to become one of the top brands in the PDA and smartphone market in Asia.?

Jack joined HTC Asia as its Vice President in July 2007, with the aim of extending the success from his past corporate management experience, to drive outstanding sales results, elevate HTC’s leadership position and to grow the HTC brand in Asia.
